Our History and Mission

The Talbot Figure Skating Club is dedicated to bringing quality figure skating to Talbot and it's adjacent counties.  Talbot Figure Skating Club was started by a  motivated group of skaters, parents, and coaches who wanted to expand figure skating opportunities to local skaters.  Team enthusiasm and growth continues with the excitement of the newly generated members and exciting new skating opportunities.

Talbot Figure Skating Club is a recreational figure skating club affiliated with the Ice Skating Institute.  Members of all ages are welcome!  The Talbot Figure Skating Club has affiliated professional skating instructors who are available to teach basic through advanced skating skills and are ISI professional members.

TFSC skaters have the opportunity to seek individual lessons from qualified Talbot Figure Skating Club professionals. Other exciting opportunities like completing test levels, skating in home exhibitions, competing, and participating in group skating events like synchro, production, or ensemble teams are also available to our members.  Skaters may also choose to participate in classes and programming offered by Talbot County Parks and Recreation.

Talbot Figure Skating Club’s mission is to create unity amongst Figure Skaters.  Social activities and team bonding will be shared while providing its members the opportunity to build lasting friendships.  TFSC appreciates the support of community members, our rink, friends, and family members!
